Peccioli is a small town of almost 5000 inhabitants to be visited walking along the narrow streets, among the well-preserved historic center, ancient churches and small museums. It is one of the “bandiera arancione”  villages, the certification of the Italian Touring Club assigned to Italian locations with less than 15,000 inhabitants which, in addition to having a valuable historical, cultural and environmental heritage, also know how to enhance its territory in terms of environmental sustainability and quality tourist accommodation. The town of Peccioli has been awarded the Orange Flag by the Italian Touring Club, a recognition that certifies it among the most beautiful villages in Italy.  

Peccioli e` un piccolo paese di quasi 5000 abitanti da visitare con calma, passeggiando lungo le strette vie, tra il centro storico ben conservato, antiche pievi e piccoli musei. E’ uno dei borghi Bandiera Arancione, la certificazione del Touring Club Italiano assegnata alle località italiane con meno di 15.000 abitanti che, oltre ad avere un patrimonio storico, culturale e ambientale di pregio, sanno anche valorizzare il proprio territorio in termini di sostenibilità ambientale e di accoglienza turistica di qualità. Il paese di Peccioli è stato premiato dal Touring Club Italiano con la Bandiera Arancione, riconoscimento che lo attesta tra i borghi più belli d’Italia.
